Cycle for the Day Centre!

Join thousands of cyclists on Sunday 11th September from Clapham Common on a 54-mile journey to everyone’s favourite seaside town of Brighton! Take in picturesque views along the way, going as slow of fast as you like – the spirit of the event is taking part, so with a little bit of training anyone can join in!

The London to Brighton Cycle is organised by Do It For Charity, who will ensure you have assistance along the way for all riders, as well as an optional coach and van service to bring you and your bike back to the start line in Clapham Common once you’ve reached sunny Brighton. You’ll also receive constant support from the fundraising team at West London Day Centre, including that all-important cycling top!

Why fundraise for us?

Between 2014 and 2015, we supported 1,623 different homeless people, 704 of whom saw the NHS Health Team, and we helped 302 people into housing. In the month of June this year, we supported 24 service users get off the streets, and 3 to begin paid work. It’s an unfortunate statistic that homelessness has increased by almost a third in England over the last year, and more than doubled since 2010 with the highest numbers of rough sleepers here in Westminster. Services like ours are needed more than ever, and we rely on fundraisers to keep our Day Centre open.
